Designs

Artwork is preferred in a vector format (.eps, .ai, or .cdr) from software like CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator or a pdf file. It can also be in a .tiff or .gif format as long as it is full size and clear. Internet pictures and screen graphics are typically in .jpeg format and are often at very low resolution of 75-100 dpi (dots per inch) in a small size. When these low resolution .jpeg clip art designs are enlarged to a shirt-sized design, they become very grainy and pixelated (saw-toothed edges). These are not usable without the clipart artwork being completely redrawn into vector format. It it is a complex design, there may be an artwork charge to have it redrawn. Jpeg images should be scanned at high resolution (typically 250-300 dpi) at the final size needed for the print. If there are questions about this, please contact us for help.

Before sending artwork from CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator, convert all text to curves or outlines, or send the font file with the artwork.
